How to set up your microphone permissions

PNP needs access to your microphone (and camera for the Reaction Recorder) for features like Talk to Santa and the Reaction Recorder. If Santa can't hear you, check these permissions.

In your web browser

When the browser asks to use your microphone, click Allow. If you blocked it by mistake, click the icon to the left of the address bar, set Microphone to Allow and reload the page.

iPhone or iPad (PNP app)

1. Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone.
2. Turn on Portable North Pole (and your browser if you use the website).

Android (PNP app)

1. Open Settings > Apps > Portable North Pole > Permissions.
2. Tap Microphone and choose Allow.

Mac

1. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone.
2. Turn on your browser (for example Google Chrome).

Windows

1. Open Settings > Privacy & security > Microphone.
2. Turn on Microphone access and Let desktop apps access your microphone.

Then reload the page or restart the app and try again.
